The source of truth
SweepDays checks Chicago’s official 2026 street-sweeping zones, schedule, and street centerlines. It is an independent service, not a City of Chicago website.
View sweeping zones View street centerlinesChicago typically sweeps one side of the street on the first date and the other side on the second. SweepDays reminds you before both.
Restrictions are generally posted for 9am–2pm, but signs on your block always take priority.
Yes. Weather, holidays, or city operations can affect service. Always check temporary signs before parking.
SweepDays uses the address you enter only to find nearby sweeping zones; it does not retain the exact address or coordinates. It stores a broad block label, selected zones, an encrypted email address, consent history, delivery status, and optional interest in future text alerts. Email addresses are shared only with Resend to deliver requested messages and are never sold. Unverified signups are removed after 24 hours, delivery records after about 90 days, and unsubscribed contact data after about 30 days.
SweepDays is an independent reminder service, not a City of Chicago website. City schedules can change, notifications can be delayed, and zone boundaries may differ from where you park. Posted street signs always control, and drivers remain responsible for following parking restrictions.
